A Network of Ideas
I haven’t written on here in awhile. I somehow convinced myself that writing was a less important task than I had originally thought. Though, that’s just one explanation for my absence I suppose diving into the disappearance of my writing motivation is lost on an invisible audience. A therapist would love to hear about it but I’m not here to bore you. I am here to help generate ideas and not in a chivalrous way but rather in a selfish one.
You see I believe ideas are never things that are complete. They’re more like a practice, you can be the master of ideas and still be a novice. A principle of zen is that the novice and the master are one in the same. So when I say I cast ideas out in a selfish way that is because I want the insight of others in the world to shine back at me in the avenue provided by me. Through the understanding that we, as conscious beings, are actually one begin split into, now, over eight billion parts then there is no such thing as selfishness.
The goal to life is to acquire knowledge. The process of this is to expand on each other’s ideas and in death or perhaps some other process we return to the collective conscious with better formed ideas that expand the consciousness as a whole. A lot of people are caught up in everyday life. I can’t blame them, their is much to be done and too many rules in the system we adhere to, to ultimately lay down one’s own…
